About smart modules
Is the order board really like the one at a fast-food counter?
Yes, that is the exact pattern: a big, glanceable screen that shows orders moving through their stages in real time. The difference is that it is driven by your ERP and tailored to your stages and your branding, not a closed product.
What does a smart module run on?
Usually a normal screen or TV with a small mini PC, or a tablet, showing a web page. Because it is a web app, it works on hardware you probably already have and is easy to replace if a screen dies.
Does it work with our existing ERP?
If your ERP has an API or a reachable database, yes. We connect the module to it the same way we build any integration. If it cannot be reached safely, we tell you up front.
Can it write back, not just display?
Yes. A kiosk can create orders, a pick screen can mark lines as packed, a board can update statuses. We agree exactly what each module is allowed to change.
