Privacy Policy

The short version. MEGZO is built privacy-first. Our website sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics or ad networks. Our software keeps your data on your own device. The few times anything is sent to us, it is the minimum needed to do the job you asked for, and we explain each case below.
This policy covers everything under MEGZO: the website at megzo.biz, the browser extensions, the offline games, and the store. MEGZO is operated by ICS4BIZ & IT Ltd. (Fiscal code 40365405, EU VAT RO40871194), Hargita Business Center, Transylvania.
The website (megzo.biz)
Browsing this site does not require an account and does not place tracking or advertising cookies on your device. We do not run third-party analytics or social trackers. To show prices in your local currency, our server reads the country your network connection reports (provided by our host, Cloudflare). It does not identify you, and we do not store it against you. Standard, short-lived server logs may record requests for security and reliability, in line with our host's practices.
The browser extensions
Grass Touch, Sprig, Blackbar and ReturnRadar do their work locally in your browser. Your settings, your content (recipes, tracked purchases, redactions) and your progress are stored only on your device using the browser's extension storage. We do not collect your browsing history or the content of the pages you visit.
There is one network call, and it exists only to run your free trial and to verify a paid license (anti-piracy). When it happens, the extension contacts https://megzo.biz/api/license and sends only:
- your license key, if you have entered one, and
- a random device identifier generated on your device.
It sends nothing else: no browsing data, no page content, no personal details, and no analytics. The signed response is cached so the extension keeps working offline, and if our server cannot be reached it falls back to a local check. Each extension ships with its own short privacy note that says the same thing.
The games
Bible Quest and Number Quest are made for children and are fully offline. They contain no ads, no in-app purchases, no accounts and no tracking. A child's progress (and an optional name typed for a printable certificate) is saved only on the device and is never sent anywhere. Because they collect no data at all, there is nothing for us to share, sell or lose.
Buying from our store
If you buy a product, payment is handled by our payment processor (Stripe, or EuPlatesc for purchases in Romania). They process your card details under their own terms. We never see or store your full card number. To deliver your purchase we keep your order email, what you bought, and the records needed to issue your download link and license key, and to meet tax and accounting obligations. We do not use this to advertise to you.
What we never do
- No advertising networks, no ad tracking, no selling of data.
- No third-party analytics or behavioural profiling.
- No bank or card numbers stored by us.
Your choices and rights
Uninstalling an extension or game removes its locally stored data; you can also clear it from your browser at any time. For purchase records, you may ask us to access or delete your data where the law allows (we keep what tax rules require). Email us and we will help.
